Hello! I'm looking forward to a productive and exciting school year and I hope you are too. I've been an educator for 22 years. The highlight of my day is watching a student's face when he or she has an "A-ha" moment. My goal is to create a learning environment that is fun and engaging. I have high expectations for the students I serve. However, I love to have fun too.

Just to give you a little background about my career, I received my degrees from Troy University: Bachelors Degree (1993) and Masters Degree (2008).I've had the pleasure of teaching at: Clayton Elementary (1 year), Pike County Elementary (5 years) and Goshen Elementary (current-16 years). The students of these schools, within the time I served, will forever own a piece of my heart! They made me the teacher I am today.

I'm married, have one child and 3 fur babies. I enjoy fishing and reading.
