My name is Barbara Crenshaw Sellers. I was born and raised in Greenville, Alabama, and I'm a graduate of Greenville High School. I am the mother of three children, Gabriel 27, MahKayla 26, Christian 20, and Gigi of two grand daughters ages 4 & 5. My son Christian is autistic and is a sophomore at Troy University.
I am a graduate of The University of Mobile with a Bachelors degree in Sociology/Psychology, and a Masters degree in Elementary Education. I previously worked for The University of Alabama for 12 years, as Evaluator for Healthy Start which is a Federal Program to reduce the infant mortality rate among teenagers ages 10-19 in Mobile County. There I counseled, mentored, taught, and evaluated the services provided.
I have experience teaching 4th graders, 3rd graders, Kindergarteners in Mobile county schools. And I've taught 2nd and 1st graders here at Goshen Elementary School. I am thankful for the opportunity to teach and grow here at Goshen Elementary. GO EAGLES!!!
